Why should the kids have all the fun? Social Media is all the rage on the 'Net these days. What started with mostly teens and twenty-somethings (mostly on YouTube and MySpace) has become a web 2.0 phenomenon embraced by more adults.
Yes, people use it for networking. Yes for sharing interesting info you find, raising your profile and generating an audience. You can ask questions and get great feedback.
I haven't been using Twitter that long, but the more I'm on it the more I find out how others are using it. TrendTracker is one of those I follow on Twitter and I recently came across some tweets from them that told me about research showing adults taking over social-networking sites (which I'd already surmised from my use of Facebook and Linkedin) - see this post at KSL.com.
