Information and Recommendation

Most people still think we are living in the Information Age.  There's no denying there is plenty of information available.  And it is so easy to reach information overload.

But the age we live in now is really the Recommendation Age.  This is precisely because there is so much information.

What people want...and need... these days is help finding the right information and systems plus the knowledge of what will work best for them.  We are all too busy to spend time looking at the myriad possibilities.

So, how do you go about making choices in the Recommendation Age?  I think we typically go with a combination of our gut and trusting those who make recommendations.  That means you have to build trust.  How?  Credibility and good honest service.  Credibility results from recommendations that pay off for your clients.  And if you are a good and faithful helper to your clients they will notice...and reward you with referrals.

Let's face it - we make a number of everyday decisions based on recommendations.  This includes where to eat, what movies to see, the clothes you wear, the web sites you visit and on and on.

When it comes to making a purchase people want to feel assured they are making a wise investment.  That's why money back guarantees are so valuable.  They remove the risk.

When people approach me about an affordable and professional way to preserve their life story or special experiences (career history, wedding, life changing event) I suggest MemoryPress.

If you ask me what's the best long-term successful and affordable web building and growing investment I always point them to Site Build It

Both have worked well for me so it is easy to, in good faith, make those recommendations.
